Hello science explorers, teachers, and parents! 

Welcome to a new and exciting school year Welcome to an exciting new school year at Thomas Jefferson Middle School! My name is Ms. Kris Salva, and I am thrilled to join the TJMS community as your 7th grade science teacher.

With a background in both teaching and exploration, I bring a passion for science that I can't wait to share with all of you. Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of teaching diverse groups of students and inspiring a love for learning and discovery. This year, I'm excited to bring my enthusiasm and expertise to the 7th-grade science classroom at TJMS. 

WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

1. Engaging Lessons - We'll delve into fascinating topics ranging from biology and chemistry to physics and earth science. 
2. Hands-On Experiments- Get ready to roll up your sleeves and conduct experiments that make science come alive.
3. Interactive Learning- We'll use technology, group projects, and interactive activities to deepen our understanding of scientific concepts.
4. Supportive Environment- I believe in creating a classroom where every student feels valued and encouraged to ask questions and explore their curiosity.
