Hello! My name is Mrs. Ward and I'm a proud teacher of Team Marvel. I have been teaching at Thomas Jefferson Middle School since 2015. I have also been the 7th and 8th grade assistant cheer coach since 2019.Education: I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Certification in Elementary Education (1st-6th) and Minor in Psychology. Likewise, I completed my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with and emphasis in English Education from the University of Missouri in the Fellowship Program. In May 2025, I will graduate with my Master's in School Counseling from Missouri Baptist University.Personal Life: I spend most of my free time with my family and friends. Family is a huge aspect of my life. My husband, Murphy, and I welcomed our adorable baby boy , Atticus, in August 2023. I have a Morkie named Luigi and a Maltese named Leo. In my free time, I like to read or work out. I am a big traveler and enjoy visiting new places. In the summer of 2013, I studied abroad in Italy, teaching English to first-graders. The following summer, in 2014, I returned to Italy to be a camp counselor at the Victoria Language and Culture English Summer Camp.
