Hello Students and Parents,
This will be my sixth year teaching at TJMS, but it will be my 9th year total at TJ because I grew up here, which is awesome! I received my bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harding University, which is in Searcy, Arkansas. Other than my college years, I have lived in Jefferson City for most of my life. I went to Belair Elementary, followed by Thomas Jefferson, and graduated as a Jay from Jefferson City High School.
I spend my free time doing a wide variety of activities. Some of my hobbies include slow-pitch softball, CrossFit, and volleyball. I also love movies and going to the theater. I love playing a wide variety of games with my wife, two brothers, or close friends. Beware, I am incredibly competitive, even if it does not seem like I am. When I am deciding how to spend my free time, I will always choose to spend it with others. I have three dogs. I am also a sponsor for our National Junior Honors Society.
If you ever need anything or have any questions for me specifically, please feel free to reach out.
Sincerely,
Mr. Hankins
