This is my sixth year teaching in a classroom. I was born and raised here in Jefferson City. I went through the building trades program here at Nichols Career Center. After graduating high school, I attended State Tech and received an associate's degree in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology. I went to work for a local engineering firm, performing materials testing and inspections for commercial jobs. I did this for 4+ years. For nine years, I worked in my family business in residential construction and woodworking. I enjoy carpentry and am excited to pass my knowledge on to students to inspire and prepare them for a career in construction.
