Mrs. Amber Moore
Chef Amber Moore was raised here in Jefferson City, MO. Chef Amber Moore began her culinary career at Capital Plaza Hotel & Convention Center in Jefferson City, MO. Chef Moore’s free time was spent working in the bakery at the local Schnucks, where her love of pastry and cakes really came to life.
Chef Moore pursued her passion in pastry and moved to West Palm Beach, FL, where she attended Florida Culinary Institute. Receiving an Associate’s degree in International Baking & Pastry and Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, left more to be desired. She knew she wanted her own business one day, so Chef Moore continued her education at Florida Culinary Institute and attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management.
Approaching the end of her culinary education, Chef Amber Moore accepted a private chef position for Venus Williams. Which led to opening her open catering/private chef company located in West Palm Beach, FL where she worked for well known people of Palm Beach, FL. Chef Moore discovered while running her catering company her true passion was teaching her knowledge and skills to others. After teaching several community courses to local high school students, her desire to continue in the education field exploded. Chef Moore later accepted an instructor position with a high school in Riviera Beach, FL, where she accomplished perfecting and expanding a successful culinary program. Three years later, Chef Amber Moore’s path directed her back to her family of culinarians at Florida Culinary Institute, where she accepted an instructor position on their Baking & Pastry team led by Chef Manfred Schmidke. Through her networking within the culinary world she continued to grow her catering and private chef business. After 10 years of being away from Missouri Chef Amber Moore’s path led her back to Jefferson City, Mo, where she hopes to bring some Floridian flare and all her experiences back to her local community.
Atop the many years of experience, including owning her own catering business and being a personal chef for some notable families in Palm Beach, FL, Chef Moore has also been a competitor and gold medalist on five American Culinary Federation competition teams. Chef Amber Moore is a good standing member with the American Culinary Federation, where she sat on the Palm Beach County Board for 7 years. Holding officer positions such as; Jr. ACF President, Scholarship Chairman, Jr. Liaison.
