Welcome to Building Trades at Nichols Career Center. I am Brandon Kempker, I am the instructor for Building Trades. I come from 13+ years of experience in construction. We have a good program designed to enable students to develop their skills for a career in construction. I look forward to meeting my new students for this year.

I was born and raised here in Jefferson City. I went through the building trades program here at Nichols Career Center. After graduating from high school I went to State Tech and recieved an associates degree in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology. I went to work for a local engineering firm performing materials testing and inspections on commercial jobs. I did this for 4+ years. For the past 9 years I have worked in my family business in residential construction and woodworking. I really enjoy carpentry and am excited to pass my knowledge on to students to inspire and prepare them for a career in construction.
