    Course Overview

    8th Grade Writing on Team Prestige will focus on all elements of literacy: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Throughout the course, students will produce original pieces of writing through reading, studying, and analyzing mentor texts. 

    Units of study include:

    1. Getting Started with Writing Workshop
    2. Informational
    3. Narrative
    4. Argumentative
    5. Poetry
