This is my 16th year teaching with the Jefferson City Public Schools, and my second year at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
I graduated from high school in California, Mo. Next, I went to Lincoln University where I have a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. In 2018, I earned my Masters Degree from Western Governors University in the area of Learning and Technology. Overall, I have taught for 25 years, with grades ranging from 5th grade to 12th grade. During this time, I have taught many different subjects from language arts, history, and science.
I have two amazing children: one child living and working in Columbia and the other going into 5th grade, and they make each of my days interesting. We are movie watching, comic book reading, board game playing nerds. :]
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am an overly social person, and it is wonderful to share new information with my students each day. If my students have any questions, I hope they always know that I am happy to help them.
