    Kevin Steinmetz is a former graduate of Jefferson City High School. After graduating from college in 2003, he spent 3 years in the Columbia Public Schools District where he taught Physical Education and Health K-12. In 2008, Coach Steinmetz returned to JCSD as a Physical Education Teacher and Coach. Over the past 15 years, Coach Steinmetz has coached football and track & field throughout the 6th - 12th grade programs. Coach Steinmetz is currently a varsity football assistant at Capital City High School.   

    Through hard work and determination, he continues to instill the importance of being a physically educated person and encourages those around him to do their best. He is a creative and caring teacher/coach who is dedicated to his work. Coach Steinmetz maintains high standards for himself as well as those he works with, always quietly and diligently providing the necessary support to help his peers and students succeed.
