    AirServer software allows you to project your iPad on to your computer using any projector connected to your computer. 

    This software eliminates the need for purchasing an HDMI projector and AppleTV.  The price for 20 or more licenses is $3.99 each. It is available for both Mac and PC users.

     
    MAC Instructions
    Step 1.  Check to see if AirServer is installed on your computer.  If not, ask your library media specialist to put in a work order.  Your software will be installed and activated by the technology department or you will be sent instructions on how to activate and set up your account.
     
    Step 2.  Setting up your AirServer application preferences.
    1. On your computer, go to "Applications" and choose "AirServer".  The AirSever icon will now appear in the upper ribbon on your computer screen.
    2. Click on the AirServer icon in the upper ribbon and choose "Preferences".
    3. On the General tab: 
      1. Check the computer name and correct if needed.
      2. Uncheck the "Launch on Startup" box if desired.
      3. The password option may be set here if you choose.
    4. Adjust any other settings as needed.  The default settings seem to work fine for all computers we have tested.
    5. You are now ready to begin using AirPlay on your Ipad.


    PC Instructions

    1. On your computer, go to the start menu, Programs and choose "AirServer".  When AirSever is launched it will appear in the lower right hand taskbar menu. 
    2. Right-click on the AirServer icon in the taskbar and choose "Settings". If it is in the hidden icons you will need to click on the arrow.
    3. On the General tab: 
      1. Check the computer name and correct if needed.
      2. Uncheck the "Run at Startup" box if desired.
      3. The password option may be set here if you choose.
    4. Adjust any other settings as needed.  The default settings seem to work fine for all computers we have tested.
    5. You are now ready to begin using AirPlay on your Ipad.

    Using AirServer/AirPlay On Your Ipad
    1.  Make sure the AirServer software is set up and open on your computer. There is no app to install on the iPad to use AirServer.

    2.  Double click the home button to display your open apps at the bottom of your iPad.
     
    3.  Swipe the row of apps to the right using one finger.
     
    4.  Touch the AirPlay symbol for connection choices. Choose your computer and slide mirroring on.
     
    5. You should now see your Ipad on your computer.
