  • I have been teaching special services for sixteen years; the past thirteen years I have been at Callaway Hills. I'm excited about working with the students at Belair. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. My interest in special education began as I was working in the hospital setting with chronic and terminally ill children who desired the consistency and stability of the school setting. I quickly realized what an impact education has on students. I thoroughly enjoy my job and being able to work in a small setting to help students celebrate their accomplishments, as well as, build on the areas that need improvement. On a more personal level, I am a Jefferson City native. I have been married to my husband for eighteen years and we have two boys, ages 11 and 8, who keep us very busy. In my spare time I enjoy reading, crafting, and cooking.
