Any sophomore or junior that is interested in a summer leadership program centered around service learning, should check their graduation google classroom for information on attending RYLA this summer. Cedar Hill Elementary Tutors
Cedar Hill Elementary is looking for High School students that would be interested in helping tutor, specifically in Math.They currently offer tutoring after school on Tuesday, but could be flexible during the day, too.
This would be a GREAT opportunity to earn NHS Service Hours or A+ tutoring hours.

Women Legislators of MissouriThe Women Legislators of Missouri are sponsoring (16) $1000 scholarships for young women who have shown excellence in leadership, academics, and community service. See attached link for application and additional info: http://bit.ly/molegwomen

Blind Date with a Book
It's time for Epsilon Beta's annual Blind Date with a Book. Stop by the library any time in the whole month of February to choose a wrapped book and hopefully find a date that won't disappoint! Participants are entered into a drawing for a prize and also get a sweet treat just for participating.

MAC Scholars Fundraiser
Mac Scholars will start a fundraiser next week - Tuesday through Friday called Crush 4 Crush. Club members will be selling crush soda and candy during each lunch shift. Money will go towards college visits as well as activities during Black History Month. -
NCC Tours
Students who signed up to tour NCC will be receiving a pass today for Tuesday’s tour. All programs will tour tomorrow minus Early Childhood, which will tour on Wednesday. Students will report directly to the NCC commons at the beginning of 5th period.

Cinderella's Closet
Have you considered going to prom, but the cost of a dress makes the dream out of reach? Come to Cinderella’s Closet and let our Fairy Godmothers make you the Belle of the Ball in the dress of your dreams. You have been selected to receive a prom package including a dress, shoes and accessories at no cost to you. All you need to do is make an appointment for yourself through your counselor and get ready to be treated like a princess!
The Princess Treatment – What to expect at Cinderella’s Closet

You will enjoy selecting a dress from our large inventory of formal gowns, assisted by your very own Fairy Godmother. Come ready to be pampered!

Accessories, including shoes and jewelry, may be chosen to complete your look, based on availability.

Minor Alterations will be provided to make your dress “fit for a princess”.

All items selected are free of charge and are yours to keep.

One adult female guest may accompany you to Cinderella’s Closet for support.
Appointments at Cinderella’s Closet will be made on the following day(s). Appointments must be made through your counselor - please do not contact Cinderella’s Closet directly. Remember to allow at least 2 hours for your appointment. After your time is set, you will receive an appointment certificate with all the information you will need for an amazing experience.
Saturday, March 4, between 8:00am and 5:00pm
Please remember to bring your appointment certificate, signed by a parent/guardian with you to Cinderella’s Closet. You must also bring a student ID or letter on school letterhead verifying your name and grade. You must have these items in order to keep your appointment.

Fleming Frenzy
Reminder today at each lunch shift we will be selling Fleming Frenzy shirts. Shirts, water bottle and admission into the boys basketball and wrestling against Helias tonight and tomorrow night for $20. We will also be selling them at the gate tonight and tomorrow night. Let’s have a huge red out event to support our students.

Junior Boys
Young men who exhibit high standards of leadership, character, scholarship and citizenship should apply for Boys State.
Students are required to participate in the full eight-day program. Selection qualifications include:
• Must be between the ages of 15 and 19
by June 24, 2023.
• Must have successfully completed their junior
year in a Missouri high school.
• Must be endorsed by the high school principal

ACT Prep
Students wanting math ACT practice in preparation for the December 10th ACT test are welcome to attend a study session on Monday, December 5 at 7:30am in room 109. Those planning to attend should meet promptly at 7:30am at door 4 by the loading dock to be let into the building.
