The Tech Center is on the fourth floor of Jefferson City High School above the JCHS Library.
The mission of the Tech Center is to support all students, faculty and staff in their use of technology. The Tech Center supports the school’s one to one Chromebooks, teacher computers and laptops, projectors, interactive panels, SMART boards and audio visual technology. The Tech Center also supports software, from Microsoft Office to SMART Notebook as well as online resources, such as Schoolnet, Google Suite, and many more.
Help Desk is an elective course offered to high school students to assist both students and teachers with their use of technology. Help Desk students come from diverse and varied backgrounds in regards to their experience and expertise of using technology. Students are not required to possess superior knowledge about technology or its application. Rather, they must simply show a willingness to learn and to be helpful.
