Greetings! My name is Mallory Dallas. I will be your child’s math, science, or P.E. teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. This school year marks my eighth year of teaching. I grew up in Columbia, Missouri where I participated in recreational sports, Girl Scouts, and school clubs. I am a graduate of Hickman High School class of 2005 and show my Kewpie pride. I am a newly wed. My husband and I love spending time with our Australian Shepards, Rango and Bo. In May of 2009, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education: Special Education K-12 from the University of Missouri. In December 2013, I graduated from William Woods University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I began my teaching career with Jefferson City Public Schools at Simonsen Ninth Grade Center. I co-taught Algebra I, English I, and Earth Science for two years. After Simonsen, I taught sixth through eighth grade math, ELA, and the Wilson Readying System at Mexico Middle School. I am currently a teacher at Jefferson City Academic Center (JCAC) Middle, an alternative school setting focused on student success for students in grades sixth through eighth. I work with math, science, and P.E. classes as well as being a special services provider. I am looking forward to getting to know your child.
