Jefferson City High School

Hello, I'm Angie Green, and I teach English at Jefferson City High School. This is my ninth year in the Jefferson City School District but my twelfth year teaching. I am from Jefferson City and am excited to continue teaching English at JCHS this year. I will be teaching African-American Literature, AP English Literature and Composition, and English 101/102 this year. 

 

I have a degree in English from Lincoln University, a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from MU, and a master's degree in English from Arizona State University. I enjoy learning and look forward to sharing that joy with you. Prior to teaching, I worked for the Missouri House of Representatives as a research analyst and as the director of a state-wide healthcare association.  

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing, photography, gardening, exercising, and anything outdoors.
