Jefferson City High School

Hello, my name is Nicole McMorris and I'll be teaching Chemistry, and AP Chemistry at Jefferson City High School. I student taught at JCHS during the 2016 spring semester, and the 2023-2024 will be my eighth year of teaching. I am originally from Hallsville, and I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Science Education and a degree in Biological Sciences. I loved being a Tiger and playing the tenor saxophone with Marching Mizzou.

 

In my spare time, I looove binge watching Parks & Rec (which is better than The Office, hands down), eating unhealthy amounts of Taco Bell, reading, and traveling when I can. My favorite places to visit are Ireland and Iceland! You can find me watching Cardinals baseball daily during the summer, and spending an entire Saturday watching college football during the fall; Mizzou-rah! I cannot wait for the school year to start, and I am so excited to meet all of my students!
