I am starting my sixteenth year teaching at Jefferson City High School this year. This is my 31st year of teaching high school, most of that time teaching mathematics! I decided when I was 10 years old that I wanted to be a math teacher. I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Math Education (7-12 certification) in 1992, and acquired my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University in 2008. This year will be my 10th year teaching Principles of Engineering, and I will be starting my 7th year with Civil Engineering and Architecture, and 6th year with Engineering Design and Development in the Project Lead the Way courses. I have two terrific children-both girls. Both girls have graduated from Jefferson City High School. Megan graduated May 2020 from Missouri State University with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Construction Management. Morgan completed an Associate's Degree in General Studies July 2020 from Moberly Area Community College.
