After graduating from Jefferson City Public Schools, I attended college at Lincoln University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Mathematics from Lincoln in 1997. After teaching for a few years in Eugene and Ashland, I decided to pursue my masters. While working on my masters in Mathematics at the University of Missouri Columbia, I was a teaching assistant. In 2002, I received my Master of Science for Teachers in Mathematics. After graduating from MU, I began teaching at Simonsen Ninth Grade Center. In 2012, joined the staff at Jefferson City Academic Center. After four wonderful years at JCAC, I have now come full circle. I am teaching where I graduated, Jefferson City High School.
