Hundreds of JCPS staff members, students and parents - along with community members in Jefferson City - gathered on Saturday, February 17, amidst the cold and snow, to ceremonially break ground at the site of JCPS' second high school and reveal the school's name - Capital City High School! The name received nearly 60% of the 6,000 votes cast by community members during the fall of 2017. Thanks to all who attended to celebrate this historic day for our community!
