    Chrome features not working correctly or strange glitch

    • try removing the user and re-adding the person
    • try restoring settings to their original defaults
      • Click the settings gear
      • Scroll down
      • Click on Advanced
      • Scroll down
      • Click on Restore settings to their original defaults
      • Tap on Reset Settings


    Remove an account from a Chromebook

    • If someone no longer uses a Chromebook regularly, you can remove their account. Here’s how:
      • On the sign-in screen, click the profile that you want to remove.
      • In the lower-right corner of the profile picture, click the Down arrow down arrow .
      • Click Remove this user.
      • In the box that appears, click Remove this user.
    • When you remove an account, it’s only removed from the Chromebook. The Google Account itself, including its data and settings, will still exist.


    Connects to SDWA-G.

    • Forget the SDWA-G by going to Settings > Network > Click on arrow next to SDWA-G > Forget


    Some apps do not require the Student to Login to access.

    • These apps are located in the Apps tab on the sign-in screen.
      • DRC
      • Schoolnet
      • Questar
      • KITE
      • SecureQuiz


    Colors are off

    • Opposite press Control+search+H


    Screen Zoomed in or out

    • To zoom to 100%
      • Press Control+Shift+0
    • To zoom in
      • Press Control+Shift+'+'
    • To zoom out
      • Press Control+Shift+'-'
    • On touch screen model
      • Try Control+Alt+2 fingers swipe up and down


    Screen Rotated

    • Press Control+Shift+refresh keys

    • Click on Accessibility on the bottom right
    • Scroll down
    • Click "Highlight mouse cursor" to turn it on and off


    Chromebook completely frozen

    • Click Control+refresh+power


    Accessibility issues: voice reading screen, weird zooming in, etc.

    • In settings do you see a little construction worker waving a flag? Something in accessibility has been turned on.
      • Go to Settings
      • Go into accessibility
      • Uncheck items that are turned on.
