STUDENT DIFFERENCE MAKER
Brooks Horton, 7th Grade, TJMS
Submitted by: Brittney Henson, Teacher, TJMS
Brooks showed the utmost responsibility and bravery while attending COPE. His group was listening to their leader speak, when suddenly she collapsed. All of the students did the right thing by running to get help since there was no other adult in the room, but Brooks immediately ran to the lady and checked her pulse. He was very calm and responsible in a chaotic time. I'm proud of the responsibility and empathy he showed during this tragic situation.
