-
School Psychologists and School Psychological Examiners are members of school teams that support students’ ability to learn and teachers’ ability to teach. They are responsible for leading the special education referral/evaluation process and assisting Student Support Teams. These professionals collaborate to assess students, make informed decisions regarding student needs, create academic and behavioral interventions, and assist teachers with classroom concerns. School psychologists and psychological examiners apply their knowledge in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
