    Workers Compensation

    Family Medical Leave

    · Federally mandated by the Family Medical Leave Act

    Sick Leave/Personal Leave 

    • 12 days per school year for illness as outlined in Board Policy GCBDA
    • Plus one (1) day for each additional full contract month beyond the nine month calendar
    • 2 days of sick leave allotment may be used  for Personal use as outlined in Board Policy GCBDA
    • Personnel who have been with the district at least 16 years may choose to use 4 days of their annual sick leave allotment as personal leave.
    • Teachers who are on the 16th step of the Teacher's Salary Schedule, regardless of total years in the district, may choose to use 4 days of their personal leave issued at the beginning of the year.
